Our miniature donkey, sticks, is the attitude on the farm. He is always demanding attention and treats. He thinks he’s hungry all the time, which is causing him to get a bit on the heavy side. Sticks is defiantly not happy with his new diet, but no one likes dieting, so it’s understandable.
When we go to do chores sticks has a routine with us, a hug. He puts his head between your arms and side, then waits for you to squeeze. This is his way of hugging, and he loves it.
Whenever we ignore him he starts to holler. So we say “hi, Sticks.”
Walks are always a fun thing for him, unless his hooves will get muddy. He avoids all puddles and mud spots. If you go his way and pace, everything will be okay.
